Betty Grace Jennings

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Jennings, age 70 years, of Moreton`s Hr., NL announce her peaceful passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twiilingate, NL on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 54 years, Lewis, son Terry (Rowena), Moreton`s Hr., NL,  daughter Phyllis (Gordon), Iqaluit, NU, 4 grandchildren Natasha (Jamie), Iqaluit, NU, Natania (Jeff), Iqaluit, NU, Mitchell (Carrie), ON, Marshall, Moreton`s Hr., NL, 3 great-grandchildren Taryn, Ryder and Jaelyn as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Clarence Wiseman Central Salvation Army Corps., Moreton`s Hr, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. as well as Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Capt. Tina Dominaux officiating.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be given to Clarence Wiseman Central Salvation Army Cemetery, Moreton`s Hr., NL.

Betty loved nothing more than her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She just could not wait to go to the airport to pick them up, she always had to have gifts wrapped for them.

Betty served the Lord most of her life, she was a home league secretary for 16 years, a Sunday school teacher and a Salvation Army solider for the Corps. for 30 years.

She loved doing crafts, knitting, crocheting and loved doing nothing more than cooking and making sure everyone had something to eat when they visited.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
