Alexander Purchase

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Alexander Purchase, age 77 years, of Horwood, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

He is predeceased by his parents Alphonso & Clara, daughter Sandra Burry, grandson Russell, brother Ralph, sisters Jean & Annette and parents-in-law Herman (Joe) & Bessie Barnes.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Eileen, children Loretta, Lisa, Bradley, son-in-law Anthony, grandchildren Jerry (Danielle), Shane (Mandy), Teresa (Mitchell), Dana (Shannon), great-grandchildren Gavin, Kylie, Charlie, Bentley, Meadow, Aiden. Emma, Marcus, Addison, siblings Alvina, Douglas (Sheila), Reuben (Wanda). Also a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Horwood, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Major L. Hiscock officiating.

Donations in Alex's memory may be given to The Kidney Foundation.
