It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Keats, age 94 years, of Merritt's Hr., NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

A Mother's Love
A Mother's love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
one cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL. with Rev. Paula Gale officiating.
