Anthony Boyde

It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Anthony Jackson Boyde announce his sudden passing on September 27th, 2025, at the age of 46 years in Fort McMurray, AB.

Anthony was the youngest of 5 children and grew up in Summerford, NL. After completing high school, he attended Post Secondary School and took a course on Heavy Equipment. After which he spent some time in Ontario and finally put down roots in Fort McMurray. Later he had a son named Samuel, who he loved deeply. He will forever be missed by his family and all that knew him.

He was predeceased by his father, Jackson Boyde; and grandparents, Allan and Sarah Boyde, Ralph and Mary Small; and uncle and aunt, Neil Boyde (Sandra).

Anthony is survived by his son Samuel, his mother Ellnora Boyde, siblings; Kevin (Nancy), Christopher (Mandy), Sandra (Dennis) and Stephen; nephews and nieces, Laura (Adam), Jamie (Cassandra), Bobbi (Kyle), Matthew (Sarah), Marcus, Maria and Jordyn (Tarraiz); aunts and uncles; Otto (Mina), Hector (Gloria), Kevin (Madelene), Marion (Rollin) and a large circle of cousins, family and friends who are left with fond and loving memories.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island Funeral Home Chapel, Summerford, NL with Rev. Ginn officiating.

Any donations can be delivered or dropped of at the funeral home at the time of the service.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
