It is with heavy hearts the family of Arthur Chesley Wheeler announces his passing on July 12, 2023, in Edmonton, AB.
He is predeceased by his parents Fred & Eva, daughter Goldie, brothers Ernest, Winston and Baxter.
Left with fond and loving memories are his children Margie (Graham), Eula (Ray), Vanessa (Jason), Glen (Shirley), Chad (Candice), 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, siblings Pearl, Gord (Bessie), Lucy (Harry), Louise, Joan (Kenny), Garry (Debbie) many nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home with public visitation on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 11 - 12. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Summerford.
Donations in Arthur's memory may be given to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Arthur was born to Fred and Eva Wheeler on August 22, 1938, in Summerford , NL.
He relocated to Edmonton, AB with his wife Frances and family in 1981, where he pursued his career as a carpenter instructor. God had different plans for his life, and he became an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and pastored and ministered in NL and across western Canada.
Arthur loved socializing and cherished being around family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
