Bernice Coish

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice Coish, age 81 years, of Hillgrade, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

She is predeceased by her parents Gordon & Alma Sansome, husband Chesley, brothers-in-law Gordon Barnes, Royburn Coish and Lorenzo Coish.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Sterling (Kimberly), Sharon (Tony), Steven (Natalie), Stacy (Duane), sister Thelma Barnes, sisters-in-law Beulah Coish, Olive (Willis) Earle, Bessie (Alvin) Roberts, Shirley (Martin) Cooper, brothers-in-law Ambrose (Irene), Curtis Coish, special niece & nephew Barbara (Keith) Penney and Faron Barnes as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. V. Kingsbury officiating.
