Bramwell Flight

It is with deep sorrow and great hope of Heaven that we announce the death of Bramwell M. Flight (Cottlesville, Newfoundland) who passed away on Palm Sunday,  April 5, 2020 at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends.

Bram is predeceased by his wife of 61 years Margaret, son (Baby Boy) Flight, his grandson Dylan; his siblings, Frederick (Audrey), Everett (Philomena) Olive and Melvin; and his parents, Donald Flight and Anetta Stuckless.

Left with treasured memories are children: Bruce (Judy Ann), Derek (Wavey), Myrna (Hank) Williams, Rhonda (John) MacRae, Glenda (Brent) Darling, Cordell (Maureen), Kimberly (Ellis) Pope, Darrell (Kathy); grandchildren: Natasha Farr, Adam Flight, Jelisa Boyajian, Tyler Flight, Aaron Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jake MacRae, Parker MacRae, Jessica Darling, Charles Darling, Bethany Flight, Zachary Flight, Mackenzie Pope, Noah Pope, Devin Flight; great-grandchildren: Sadie Farr, Samuel Farr, Lilah Farr, Leland Boyajian, Theodore Boyajian, Hunter Flight, Harlow Flight. Brother Alonzo (Bertha), sisters Dorothy Philpott (late Harry), Alvina Rideout (Andrew) and Brother Henry (Wilma); brothers-in-law Otto (Phyllis) Anstey, Nelson (Sunshine) Anstey, and Pearce (Agnes) Anstey; also a caring friend, Dolores Adams, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends, with special remembrances for staff and neighbours at Pleasantview Manor in Lewisporte where he resided since 2018. 

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family viewing will take place from the New World Island Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 with a graveside service to follow with Pastor H. Luff officiating.
