It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin Burge age 56 years of Virgin Arm, announce his sudden and unexpected passing at his residence on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

He is predeceased by his parents Otto & Bessie; brother Wilson and brother-in-law Dennis Brinson.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children Caleigh, Cody; sibling Mabel (Gary), Ernest (Janet), Harrison, Tony, Lisa (Fazal), Joanne, Michael (Trena); nephews; nieces; extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford with public visitation on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter’s Cove on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jared Oxford officiating.
