Chris Jones

It is with shattered hearts that the family of the late Chris Jones, age 61 years announce his sudden and unexpected passing at his residence on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

He is predeceased by his father Allister; uncles George Jones, Wylie Farr, Selby Farr; aunt Alma (Chris) Burgess; grandparents Raymond & Elsie Farr and Clarence & Dorothy Jones.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Trudy; children Amy, Ryan; mother Jean; siblings Colleen Matthews, Lorna (Ed) Martin, Jeanette (Terry) Bulgin; siblings-in-law Karen (Wayne) Dearing, Angela (Ivan) Leyte, Randy Blake; uncles Fraser Jones, Ewen (Irene) Farr, Harley (Ena) Farr; aunt Mary Ellsworth (Terry) ; parents-in-law Raymond & Jean Blake, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Chris was a great pillar of strength and support to his loving wife and children as well as to the Jones and Blake families, all of whom are completely heartbroken by his sudden passing. 

He will be deeply missed by his work crew at Froude's Construction who are devastated by his loss and the great void it leaves in their team.

 A private family service will be held.
