Christine Hawkins

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christine Hawkins, age 64 years, of Summerford, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

She is predeceased by her parents George & Dorothy, son John Kirk, sisters Hazel, Effie, brothers Graham, Arnold and George.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Wilson, children Kirk, Summerford, NL, Keith, Red Deer, AB, Stephanie, Summerford, NL, sibilings Olive Welsh, Western Bay, NL, Dorothy Smith, South River, NL, Garfield (Elaine), Cupids, NL, mother-in-law Marina Hawkins, Summerford, NL, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Public visitation will take place on Thursday, from 7-9 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from New World Island Funeral Home and Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at the Summerford Pentecostal Church. Funeral service will take place from the church on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor B. Andrews officiating.

Donations in Christine's memory may be given to her family.
