Cyril Barnes

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Cyril Barnes, age 68 years, of Summerford, NL announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his family and loved ones at his home on Monday, November 14, 2022.

He is predeceased by his wife Joan, daughter Melita, parents Thomas & Edna, brothers Edward, Roy, Ralph, Ross, Artie, parents-in-law Hazel & George Boyde, nephews Cody Anstey & Stephen Barnes.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children Craig (Natalie Brown), Chrissie (Jamie Hodder), grandchildren Chance, Isabella, great-granddaughter Ivy, siblings Cavell (Howard) Combden, Albert (Rowena - deceased),  Ewen, Gordon (Mary), Velma (Bob) Spencer, Joan Barnes, Ellison, Pamela (Darrell) Jenkins, homecare workers Jill Combden, Melissa Pelley, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the New World Island  Salvation Army West Corps, Summerford, NL with Major Lillian Pelley officiating. 

Donations in Cyril’s memory may be given to his family.
