Donald Rideout

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Rideout, age 84 years, fomerly of Virgin Arm, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

He is predeceased by his parents William & Melinda, first wife Harriett, daughter Janice, brothers Sandy & Raymond.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ruth, children Lorne (Daphne), Frazer (Yvonne), Boyce (Josephine), Deloruis (Moody) Burt, Shawn (Fretzel), Nola (Sheldon) Price, grandchildren Travis (Amanda), Shakira (Ryan), Conroy (Krista), Jody, Cameron (Tamara), Davis (Laura), Dominique (Kyle), Ryan, Donovan, Desiree, Jenny (Jeremy), Andrea (Jonathan), Kearstyn, Mackenzie, great-grandchildren Sawyer, Adelyn, Malakai, brothers Alonzo (Geraldine), Ronald (Lisa), step-children Ruby Canning, Edgar (Patsy) Layte, Abel (Bernice) Layte, Brian (Marlee) Layte, Bonnie (Perry) Blake, Leaman (Lorraine) Layte, Danny Layte, 10 step grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter's Cove, NL. Funeral service will take place from the church on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor D. Budden officiating.
