Donald Wheeler

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Wheeler, age 83 years, of Chanceport, NL announce his passing at the Lewisporte Health Centre, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

He is predeceased by his parents John & Agnes, brother Francis Wheeler and sister Myrah Anstey.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Edna, children Franklin (Monnie), Leo (Sharon), Edmund (Sharon), Marilyn (Andy) Gates, Mervin (Cassie), Donna (Andy) Joyce, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Norma (Clyde) Vincent, brother-in-law Winston (Evelyn) Dove and sister-in-law Margaret Burt as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford with public visitation on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Summerford United Church. Interment will take place from the United Cemetery, Carter's Cove, NL.

Donations in Donald's memory may be given to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Carter's Cove, NL.
