Donna Burt

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna Louise Burt ( nee Small ), at the age of 69, surrounded by her family in Calgary, Alberta.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, Eric and Lillian Small, parents-in-law Mark and Mary Burt, sisters-in-law Gertie Burt and Amelia Burt, brothers-in-law Winston Burt and Eugene Burt.

Left to mourn with many cherished memories is her loving husband Mark of 51 years, her beloved children Lee, Timothy (Alexandra), Danielle, her cherished grandchildren Savannah, Joseph, Lilee , Kara, Raina, Eleonora, Lillianna and her sisters(friends), Debbie (Ted) and Marilyn (Peter ).

Also her sisters-in-law Sylvia, Nancy (Hedley), Hazel (Wilson), Lavinia, brother-in-law Leonard (Wanda) and many extended family and friends, especially the friendships made in Calgary over the past 19yrs.

Donna loved spending time outdoors. Whether in her garden, with her dad on the ocean, with her best friend Joanne in the greenhouse or with her family, walking/hiking and water rafting in the Alberta mountains, her Happy Place was always in nature.

In keeping with Donnas wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside interment will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2026 where she will be laid to rest next to her parents in the Bridgeport Cemetery.
