Doris Rideout

Passed peacefully away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Saturday, January 6, 2024, the late Doris Rideout, age 83 years, formerly of Valley Pond, NL.

She is predeceased by her parents Ephriam & Joyce Stryde, husband Willis Rideout, brother Oswald Stryde, sisters Marion Stryde, Evelyn Ings, brothers-in-law Benson Wheeler and David Ings.

Left with fond and loving memories are her sisters Viola Wheeler, Sheila Ings, brother-in-law Willie Ings, nephews Terry (Linda), Tony (Debbie), Ricky (Nola), Danny, nieces Brenda (Clyde), Trudy (Terry) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 10 - 12 p.m., 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Lieut. Barry Austin officiating.
