Douglas Watkins

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Douglas Watkins, age 87 years, of Cottlesville, NL announce his unexpected passing on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

He is predeceased by his parents Lloyd & Violet, wife Myrtle, sister Madeline (Eric) and brother Gower.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children Eugene (Hilda), Dona, Morgan (Sherry), Dale (Wesley), grandchildren Pamela, Jeremy, Peter, Myah, Alex, great-grandchildren Chayse, Nate, Jayden, Parker, siblings Beatrice (Eric), Jerry (Christine), Peter (Doreen), William, Yvonne (Anthony) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation will remain private. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m from the funeral home chapel. 

Donations in Douglas' memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Society.
