Edwin Hillier

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edwin Hillier, age 93 years, formerly of Virgin Arm, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents Herbert & Emma, first wife Bernice, brothers Wilson (Muriel), Andrew (Margaret), Jack (Mary), sister Lucy (Cyril), grandson-in-law Michael, step-sons Hector and Elwood Price.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Elizabeth, daughters Sandra (Bruce), Marilyn (Malcolm), Rosalie (Watson), grandchildren Kimberly (Ronnie), Joanne (Craig), Michelle (Todd), Renee, Patricia, Christopher (Valerie), Oral (Kendra), Chad (Bethann), Jonathan, great-grandchildren Haylie, Zachary, Nathan, Sarah, Lily, Cole, Eden, Silas, Emily, Brandon, Andrew, Ayden, Kendall, Chase, great-great-grandchildren John, Theodore, step-daughters Gladys, Ernestine (Leo), Christina (Eugene) a number of step-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL. with Rev. V. Kingsbury officiating.
