Eileen Sansome

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Eileen Sansome age 73 years of Hillgrade, NL, announce her passing at her residence on Saturday, September 13, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She is predeceased by her parents Harold & Phoebe Rogers, sister Joan (Reginald) Greenham, nephews Terry Greenham, Trevor Rogers, parents-in-law Doyle & Edna Sansome.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Calvin, son Maurice, granddaughter Madison, siblings Christine (Bert), Stanley (Daphne), Mervin (Vera), Kevin (Judy), sisters-in-law Audrey (Ron), Betty (Bernard), brother-in-law Ron (Jeff) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation taking place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL.

Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be given in Eileen’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Twillingate – New World Island Community Friends Group.
