Ernest Gedge

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Gedge, age 73 years, of Fairbank, NL announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, March 4, 2022.

He is predeceased by his parents Artie & Kate, brother Harry, parents-in-law Ralph & Verna Dalley and brother-in-law Ellwood Anstey.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Edna, sons Terry (Sheryl), Jody (Stephanie), grandchildren Jaxson, Kerrigan, Kolsen, siblings Cynthia (Arthur) Rogers, Eileen Anstey, Angela (Frank) Rideout, Ivan (Linda),  sisters-in-law Georgina (Michael) Harty, Florence (Roy) Rogers, Ruth Gedge and Donna Gedge as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Proof of vaccination will be required for the visitation and funeral service.

Donations in Ernest's memory may be given to the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL.
