Frances Jones

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frances Jones, age 86 years, of Herring Neck, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Friday, December 1, 2023.

She is predeceased by her parents Lewis & Mary Ann Hurley, husband Maxwell Jones, brothers Gerald, Clarence, sisters Theresa and Mary.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Gary, Maxine (Jim), Dianne (Greg), David (Kathy), grandchildren Wendy (Jeff), Vanessa (Trevor), Nico (Lacey), great-grandchildren Jorja, Jaya, step-grandchildren Hope, Kelsey, Chloe, special nephew Robert, brother-in-law Ivan (Vera), sisters-in-law Doris, Effie (Clarence) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL. 

Donations in Frances' memory may be given to The Diabetes Association.
