Frank Barnes

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Barnes, age 78 years, formerly of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Monday, May 26, 2025. Frank recently moved to Gander, NL from Ontario where he resided for the past 56 years.

He is predeceased by his parents Garland & Dorothy, daughter Lisa, brothers Aubrey, Stewart and parents-in-law Ford & Ida Bartlett.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Rowena, siblings Calvin (Rita), Bill (Judy), Harris, Gladys (Gerald), Marvin (Susan), Lloyd (Carol), Delphine (Lambert), Rex (Claudia- Lynn), Maisie (Jim), Shirley, Norman (Donna), sisters-in-law Shirley, Martha, Audrey (Wade), Alma (Nelson), Wavey (Ira), Verbena (Edmund), brothers-in-law Wayne (Gwen), Wallace (Jackie) a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the New World Island Funeral Home Chapel, Summerford, NL. 

In lieu of flowers. Donations in Frank's memory may be given to the Summerford Food Bank.
