Gordon Wheeler

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Wheeler, age 78 years, announce his passing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PE on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents Frederick & Eva, brothers Ernest (Lucy), Arthur, Winston, Baxter (May), parents-in-law Kenneth & Netta Nippard, siblings-in-law Harvey, Uriel (Edna), Don, Heber (Pearl), Calvin, Violet (Howard) and Scott.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Bessie, children Rick (Celyn), Joanne (Sam), Rod (Nancy), Ritchie (Jaclyn), Louanne (Jason), grandchildren Kayla, Kelsey, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Katherine, Kimberly, Danielle, Mallory, Zoey, Kristina, Zander, Kennedi, Kenzie, Kaylee, Layla, great-grandchildren Raya, Cameron, Nora, Charlie, Abel, Alma-Ann, Genesis, Charlotte, Carter, Bryan, siblings Pearl, Louise, Joan (Kenny), Lucy (Harry), Garry (Debbie), siblings-in-law Wallace (Gladys), Evelyn, Gladys Nippard as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Summerford Pentecostal Church.

Donations in Gordon’s memory may be given to the N.W.I. Food Bank, Summerford, NL.
