Harvey Powell

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Powell, age 74 years, of Herring Neck, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Monday, February 17, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents Robert & Ivy, brothers Ralph, Wesley, Thomas, Jack, Donald, sister Audrey, brother-in-law Levi and sister-in-law Florence.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Daphne, sons Garland, Danny (Jennifer), grandchildren Alexander, Liam, Landon, Alicia, sisters Louise, Pauline (Ellison), sisters-in-law Thelma, Sharon, a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Gospel Light Pentecostal Tabernacle, Cobb’s Arm, NL.

Donations in Harvey’s memory may be given to his family.
