Harvey Watkins

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Watkins, age 79 years, of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Monday, September 22, 2025.

He is predeceased by his father Peter, brother Kevin and father-in-law Elijah Jennings.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Maxine, children Paula (Jason), Vanessa (Blair), Greg (Susan), grandchildren Nicholas (Erin), Kaitlyn, Braden, Emily, mother Meta, siblings Ted (Wavey), Annette (Dave), Joan (William), mother-in-law Mary, sister-in-law Marilyn as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Major D. Anstey officiating.

Donations in Harvey’s memory may be given to Salvation Army Cemetery, Summerford, NL.
