Hazel Coates

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel Coates, age 83 years, of Horwood, NL announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

She is predeceased by her parents Frank & May Hart, children Grace, Clara, Francis Jr., sister Pearl and brother Bert.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Mae (Anthony), Alvin (Karen), Clara (Eric), grandchildren Brittany, Kayla (Kevin), Justin (Melissa), Roman (Ashley), River (Hannah), Erica, great-grandchildren Myles, Ava, Tristan, Jaylynn, Layla Rose, Haylie, Talea, Scarlett as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Horwood, NL with public visitation on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Major L. Hiscock officiating.

No flowers by request. Donations in Hazel's memory may be given to her family.
