Heber Freake

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Heber Freake, age 83 years, of Boyd's Cove, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

He is predeceased by his parents Alfred & Patience, brothers Peter, James (Mary), Clarence, sisters Maude and Myrtle (Horatio).

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ruth, children Myrtle (Tom), Judy (Earl), Rodney, Joanne (Jay), grandchildren Danielle (Zack), Travis, Ryan, great-grandchild Hilde, niece Celeste (Burke), nephews Frederick and Jim (Gladys) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. as well as Monday, July 24, 2023 from St. George's Anglican Church, Boyd's Cove, NL from 11-1 p.m.  Funeral service will follow from the church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stella Mills officiating.

Donations in Heber's memory may be given to the Anglican Cemetery Church Fund, Boyd's Cove, NL.
