Hilda Wheeler

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Wheeler, age 89 years, of Summerford announce her passing at the Central NL Regional Hospital on Monday evening February 6, 2017.

She is predeceased by her husband Scott, parents Samuel & Flossie Rogers, brother Ralph, sister Edna and daughter-in-law Karen.

Left with cherished memories are her children Lorne (Marilyn), Summerford, NL, Joyce (Carl), Summerford, NL, Phyllis (Gord), Gander, NL, Hubert (Joelle), Grand Falls- Windsor, NL, Irvin (Juanita), Ajax, ON, Edmund, Woodstock, ON, Dennis (Petina), Fenwick, ON, Paulette (Lem), Lewisporte, NL, Gloria (Kevin), Summerford, NL as well as twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn are her siblings: Walter, La Scie, NL, Louise Blundon, St. John's, NL, Phyllis (Charlie Kelly), Trinity Bay, NL, Ira (Golda Rogers), Twillingate, NL, Joan (Melvin Thorne), Gander, NL and Florence (Clarence Granville), Gander, NL.

Respecting Hilda's wishes viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home for her family only.

The funeral service will take place from the Summerford Pentecostal Church on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor B. Andrews officiating. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Summerford.
