Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Borden, age 88 years, formerly of Carter's Cove, NL announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
She is predeceased by her husband Bramwell, parents Claude & Effie, sons Wayne and Doyle, brothers Doyle (Kathleen), Almond and son-in-law Hector Price.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children Velma (Eli), Ellen (Barry), Danny (Jess), Shirley (Brian), Ewen (Linda), Rona (Nelson), Bernice (Lawrence), Dennis (Marilyn), 16 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, siblings Shirley (Junior), Percy (Lillian), Janice (Milton), Linda (Carl) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter's Cove, NL with public visitation on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor J. Oxford officiating.
Donations in Irene's memory may be given to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter's Cove, NL.
