Irene Legge

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Legge, age 68 years, of Stoneville, NL announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Friday, December 16, 2022.

She is predeceased by her parents William & Mary Legge, second mom Bessie Ginn, sisters Thelma, Margaret, Louise, brothers David, Harold and Nelson.

Left with fond and loving memories are her son Jamie Legge, siblings Ruby, Brooklyn, Dennis, best friend (caregiver) Una Ginn, second family Donnabelle (Glendyn) Necho, homecare workers Debbie Hodder & Melissa Coates, friend Dale Nichol and family dog Toby.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor R. Higgs officiating.

Donations in Irene's memory may be given to The Kidney Foundation.
