Israel Burry

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Israel Burry, age 82 years, of Boyd's Cove, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

He is predeceased by his parents Malcolm & Martha, wife Shirley, sister Joyce and grandson Macky.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children Daphne (Grant) Hodder, Malcolm (Pauline), Phyllis (Dave) Brown, Darlene (Truman) Barnes, Christine (Bruce) Roberts, Brian (Janice), Paul (Kitty), Neil, Leonard (Rhonda), Wayne (Loralee), grandchildren Marcie, Lena, Grant Jr., Phillip, Megan, Joshua, Jordan, Tyler, Steven, Gregory, Samantha, Selina, Sabrina, Jenna, Jared, Breann, Katelyn, Rebecca, Amber, Vanessa, Tommy, Patrick, Mitchell, great-grandchildren Tylor, Clarisa, Denika, Khya, Dom, Blake, Brody, Heidi, Cleo, Jeremy, June, Randy, Nikita, Nathan, Cameron, Peyton, Addison, Noah, Sadie, Izabella, Katie-Lee, Kenny, Austin, Axel, Marissa, brothers Bert (Joan), Harvey (Sandra), special friend Helen, fur babies Copper & Tiger as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Our hearts are so broken now dad with you gone. You were the best dad ever. You and mom raised us 10 kids through hard times with lots of love, respect and honesty.  We hope we made you proud. We didn't want you to go yet, but we know you are now with mom, where you always wanted to be. When you lost her 20 years ago, your heart broke forever. Now you are in her arms and hugging her again. You were the kindest, hardest working, honest salt of the earth man ever. You will be missed more than you will ever know. We love you forever dad.

Resting at St. George's Anglican Church, Boyd's Cove, NL with public visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stella Mills officiating.
