It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ivan Rideout, age 67 years, announce his sudden passing at his residence in Summerford, NL on Monday, May 15, 2023.
He is predeceased by his son Jake, parents Simon & Ruth, siblings Jim, Ron, Gerald, Geraldine, parents-in-law Lucy & Roland, sister-in-law Veronica, brother-in-law Wycliff.
He leaves to mourn his beautiful wife Olive, daughter Jody (Devron), grandson (his pride and joy) Jalen, siblings Joan (Eddie), Margaret, sisters-in-law Joyce, Rose (Hubert), Goldie (Ukesh), brother-in-law Stewart.
Ivan’s memory will live on in his wife, daughter, and grandson. His humorous spirit and lighthearted view on life was beloved by all who knew him.
His biggest joy and passion in life was family, and his most recent role as pop.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL. Visitation and funeral service will remain private.
