Jacob Mercer

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jacob Mercer, age 62 years of Chanceport, NL announce his passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on August 23, 2016.

Predeceased by his parents John & Beatrice, and daughter Michelle.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Elsie, children; Angela (Curtis) Manning, Edmonton, AB, Trina (Jay Burden), Gander, NL, Robert (Pam), Fort McMurray, AB, grandchildren; Ashley, Hayley, Madison, Jordyn, Brayden, Michalea, Tristen, sibilings; Wilfred, Brookfield, NL, Margaret, Horwood, NL, John (Glenda), Gander Bay, NL, Norman (Regina), Horwood, NL, Gordon (Helen), Carter's Cove, NL, Clifford (Sadie), Horwood, NL, Max (Ethelwin), Victoria, NL, Ross (Deloris), Birchy Bay, NL, and Florence (Fernand), Fort McMurray, AB. As well as a large circle of family and friends.

Public visitation will be held at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps., Summerford, NL on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
