James Pelley

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late James Pelley, age 88 years, of Summerford announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre on Saturday February 4, 2017.

James is predeceased by his parents Kaywood & Dorcas, grandson Clarence, brothers Lewis & George and sisters Effie & Joyce.

In their sadness but wonderful memories he leaves his wife Louise, children: Cassie (Ford Rideout), Summerford, NL, Bruce (Sherry), Gander, NL, Mable (Edward Rowsell), Summerford, NL, Roseann (Sean Jefferies), Summerford, NL, Darlene (Keith Cooze), Ottawa, ON, grandchildren: Sheldon, Wanda-Lee, Shannon, Jenilee, Justin, Chantelle, Heidi, Daze, Wendy, Amber and eleven great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his sister Rose, brother Wilson, sisters-in-law Eileen, Ada & Gladys, brother-in-law Gerald as well as his dearly loved homecare workers Shawna Barnes & Roxann Hawkins.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Summerford Pentecostal Church at the times noted above. The funeral service will take place from the church at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor B. Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at the Summerford Pentecostal Cemetery.
