John was a well known, liked, loved, giving and respected man who spent his days doing what he loved.
He was hardworking, ambitious and innovative.
He spent most of his days in the woods, probably with one of his beloved animals by his side. If not in the woods, he was crafting wooden churches, houses or boats, reading his bible, picking berries, making bread or steamed puddings.
John loved with his whole heart, nothing meant more than his family which was proven true with the numerous years he spent caring for his then ill wife Marie who has since passed.
John’s time here may be over, but he will forever live on in the minds of those who knew him. His life was spent with no time wasted, wondering what he was going to get up to next.
A service for family and friends will take place at a later date from the Community Cemetery, Indian Cove.
