Kirk Bryan McDiarmid

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kirk Bryan McDiarmid on November 26, 2022 in Twillingate, Newfoundland.

Dear son of Kenneth Bruce McDiarmid and the late Carol Roxanne McDiarmid. Much loved brother to Jennifer Ayotte (Andy) and Karen McDiarmid (predeceased).  Devoted Uncle to Michael (Laura) and Stephanie. Special great Uncle to Elise and Claire.  Kirk will also be fondly remembered by his Godmother, Dr. Kathleen Gow, Aunt Adrianne Taylor (Uncle Barry, predeceased) and cousins Steve (Val), Lisa (Murray) and Jonathan (Sandy). Kirk leaves behind his extended Winstone/Horrill/Quigg family and his closest friends.

Kirk was born in Toronto. He attended Drewry Public School, Willowdale Jr. High and Newtonbrook SS where he developed lasting friendships. Kirk had various careers, but his most rewarding venture was that as an Airbnb Super Host at his property in Summerford, Newfoundland.  He was happiest when near or on the water. Kirk was a kind, caring and compassionate person who was larger than life.  He loved Formula 1, multiple sports and his family dearly. He was a true friend to all.  His life ended much too early and he will be forever missed.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario. A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
