Levi Rice

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Levi Rice, age 72 years, of Herring Neck, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

He is predeceased by his parents Frederick & Ethel, brothers George Rice, Harold Rice, Jack Rice, Andrew Rice, sister Evangeline Sansome, brothers-in-law Wesley Powell, Ralph Powell, Jack Powell, Donald Powell, Thomas Powell and Ellwood Small.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Louise, sons Robert (Golda), Joey (Robyn), daughter Daisy, grandchildren Madison, Alaina, Avery, Harrison, siblings Jonas (Christine) Rice, Olive (Wilson) Gillard, Nellie Small, Pansy (Gerald) White, sisters-in-law Pauline (Ellison) Burt, Thelma Powell, Florence Powell, Sharon Powell, Ethel Rice, Lucy Rice, brothers-in-law Harvey (Daphne) Powell and Hedley Sansome as well as a large number of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church, Hillgrade, NL.

At the request of the family, masks are to be worn during the visitation & service.

Donations in Levi's memory may be given to his family.
