Many thanks to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s, who provided her with compassionate care and support during her two year stay. Although she was of no relation, she quickly became a favourite to the care takers and was known to many as “Aunt Lil and nanny.”
Special things that Lillian loved were her family, visits from her grandchildren, daily chats with her many friends, rocking and singing her favourite hymns and attending church.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL. Public visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:00-12:00 p.m. A private family memorial service will follow.

“Goodbye my family, my time has pass
I’ve loved you to the very last.
Weep not for me but courage take
And love each other for my sake.
For those you love don’t go away
I’ll walk beside you every day.”
