Lucy Wheeler - Jenkins

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Wheeler - Jenkins, age 75 years, formerly of Summerford, NL announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

She is predeceased by her husband Ernest Wheeler, parents Lydia & John Gleason, sisters Edna Sansome & Winnie Greenham.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Carl Jenkins, daughter Wanda Bursey (Byron), son Wade Wheeler (Diane), grandchildren Melissa Wheeler, Megan Greenham (Stephen) & Todd Greenham, great-grandchildren Hannah & Emma Greenham, step-children Karen Rogers, Jody Jenkins & Cordell Jenkins, sisters Joyce Dyke & Eileen (Watson) Mouland as well as a large circle of family & friends.

The family would like to thank Lucy's home support workers, Brenda Lee Thorne, Tonya Ings & Kim McDonald.

Public visitation will take place from New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2-4 P.M. Funeral service will be on Saturday at 1 P.M. from the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps, Summerford, NL with Major L. Pelley officiating.

Donations in Lucy's memory may be given to the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps, Summerford or a charity of one's choice.
