Mamie Thoms

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mamie Thoms, age 85 years, of Boyd's Cove, NL announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

She is predeceased by her adoptive parents Edgar & Myrtle Pelley, parents Lena (Lewis) Burt & Arthur Blake, husband Ford, brothers Leroy Burt & Garland Burt, daughter-in-law Clara Thoms, sister-in-law Marguerite Burt.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Ford, Gary (Kelly), Michael (Maureen), Paul, Christina, grandchildren Sheldon (Stacey), Robert (Jennifer), Amanda, Sarah, Michael, Maria, great-grandchildren Alex, Kaylee, Curtis, Jenna, Lauren and Bradley, brothers Pearce, Roy (Audrey), Stewart (Francis), Willis (Helena), Winston (Mary), Roderick, sisters Linda (Wilson), Millie (Ralph), Margaret, Ethel (Edward), Karen, Nola (Dennis), sister-in-law Shirley Thoms, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at St. George's Anglican Church, Boyd's Cove, NL with visitation on Friday, March, 16, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. G. Giles officiating.

Donation's in Mamie's memory may be given to the Lakeside Homes Recreation Fund, Gander, NL.
