Marie Keefe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Keefe, aged 78 years of Newville at the Notre Dame Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

She is predeceased by her parents Alphonso and Bessie Jones, sisters Ruth Pippy, Jean Seger and Marion Pearce.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband John Keefe, children Joan (Terry) Gilbert, Terry (Audrey), grandchildren Hayley (Nathan), Kurt (Serena) Hull, Simone (Chris Anstey), Nicole St. John, siblings Gordon (Margaret ) Jones, Eileen (Larry) Wheeler, Diane (Roy) Mercer and Eric (Phyllis) Jones.

Marie and John were married on February 29, 1964. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone around her. Marie was the best bread maker and had so much love and dedication to her church.

Visitation for family and friends will be take place at the New World Island Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 followed by a private graveside service at the Community Cemetery at Indian Cove.
