Marina Hawkins

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Marina Hawkins, age 85 years of Summerford, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

She is predeceased by her parents George & Hazel Boyd, husband Jack, daughters Georgina (Steadman) Anstey, Darlene Hawkins, grandchildren Jeremy, John Kirk, brothers Samuel, Norman, Maxwell, Boyce, Raymond, sisters Isabel, Lillian, Joan, Francis, daughter-in-law Christine and special friend Leonard Burt.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Wilson, Harvey (Jacqueline), Woodrow (Carolyn), Evelyn (Graham) Hodder, Daphne (Boyce) Bennett, Christine (Ross) Bauld, Kevin, Alwood (Patsy), Geraldine (Alvin) Hynes, Rodney, Josephine Mills, 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, sister Elaine Ginn, brothers Harry (Delphine) Boyd, Eric (Eileen) Boyd as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A private family funeral service will take place from the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.

Donations in Marina's memory may be given to the Daffodil Place, St. John's, NL.
