Marjorie Gwendolyn Pryor was born September 19, 1926 to John and Annie Pryor of Cottles Island.  On December 9, 1947, she married the love of her life Ronald Philpott and together had a family of twelve children. In the early morning hours of March 4th, Marjorie began the journey to meet the God she loved and served so faithfully.
Her life can be described by one word “Love”.  She dedicated her life to God and to her family.  A quiet wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, yet a giant of a lady that became a hero to her children and the rock that anchored her family.  Proverbs 31:28 describes the mother that she was.  “Her children arise up, and call her blessed.
A lady, behind the scenes, that was ready to give a helping hand whenever the need arose.  Marjorie gave her heart to the Lord at a very young age and served God faithfully.  She loved to attend church, especially prayer meeting, which she believed to be crucial in her walk with God.
She lived by the scripture and leaves a Godly legacy to her family and friends.  Marjorie was known by her children as a lady that believed in prayer and fasting.
She has fought the good fight, she has finished the course, she has kept the faith, henceforth, there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give her at that day, II Timothy 4:7-8.
Well done thou good and faithful servant enter thou into the joy of the Lord, Matthew 25:21
