Marjorie Powell

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Powell, age 88 years, of Merritt's Hr., NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Sunday, October 8, 2017.

She is predeceased by her parents Kenneth & Annie, husband Frank Powell, brother Douglas Gosse, sisters Mabeline Burt and Gladys Warren.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Roy (Shirley), Allister (Angela), Jerry, grandchildren Amanda (Robin), Matthew (Ashley), Chad (Amy), great-grandchildren Stephen, Brayden, William, Zachary, sisters-in-law Daisy Gosse and Mildred (Allan) Gidge, as well as a large circle of extended family and dear friends, especially her lifelong friend Verlie (Marion) Keefe- Byrne and her daughter Suzanne.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with visitation on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL. at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paula Gale officiating.

Donations in Marjorie's memory may be given to the Merritt's Hr./ Herring Neck Cemetery Fund.
