Mary Barnes

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Mary Barnes, age 78 years, of Cottlesville, NL announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

She is predeceased by her parents Austin & Pansy Poole, husband Ernest, brothers Lloyd & Frank and brother-in-law John Barnes.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Nilda, Nelson (Rona), Angela (David), Christine (Jerry), Steven (Lori), grandchildren Kayla (John), Chad (Kaelyn), Dylan, Nathan (Hayley), Emma (Katie), Carissa (Daniel), Ciara, Ashton, great-grandchildren Millie, William, siblings Laura (Theophlius), Myrtle, Bruce (Beverley), Fred and Linda as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Salvation Army West Corps., Summerford, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Major Lillian Pelley officiating.

Donations in Mary's memory may be given to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Cottlesville, NL.
