Melvin Anstey

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Melvin Anstey, age 82 years, of Summerford, NL announce his peaceful passing on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

He is predeceased by his parents Stewart & Bessie, sisters Daisy, Olive, Stella, brothers James, Eric, and Chesley.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife May, children Marilyn (John) Haynes, Dallas, TX, Michael (Daphne), Summerford, NL, grandchildren Alex, John T, Jerra, Jennika, Amanda and Lucas. great - granddaughter Leah Rose, sibilings Hayward (Mary), Wilson (Gertie), Junior (Wanda) all of Summerford, NL, Myrtle (Corbett) Burt, Virgin Arm, NL, Clara Watkins, Indian Cove, NL, Joyce (Chesley) Pelley, Bishop's Falls, NL, Juanita (Harold Perry), Margaret (Rayfield) Anstey both of Cottlesville, NL.

Resting at the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps, Summerford, NL on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and on  Friday, September 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Major Colin Abbott officiating.

Donations in Melvin's memory may be given to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Summerford, NL.
