Mervin Burt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Mervin W. Burt, age 66 years, of Cobb's Arm, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander, NL on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

He is predeceased by his parents Arthur & Susie, sisters Ida Burt, Kathleen Burt, Maxine Ings, Elsie Rice, brothers Bill Burt and Daxter Burt.

Left with broken hearts but wonderful memories are his wife Pat, children Colleen (Grant) Bath, Cobb's Arm, NL, Kirk (Lori), Virgin Arm, NL, grandchildren Heather, Logan, Ethan, Mia, Autumn, baby Burt expected in August, siblings Wallace (Bernice), Virgin Arm, NL, Stanley (Mildred), Virgin Arm, NL, Walter (Myrtle), Parkview, NL, Dax (Liz), Virgin Arm, NL, Geraldine (Chesley) Boyd, Sandy Point, NL, Christine (Steve) Greenham, Parkview, NL, step father-in-law Harold (Frances) King, as well as a large number of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter's Cove, NL on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the church on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor D. Purchase officiating. Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Cemetery, Cobb's Arm, NL.

Donations in Mervin's memory may be given to the Cobb's Arm Pentecostal Church "Roof Project".
