It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Burt, age 80 years, formally of Virgin Arm, NL announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
She is predeceased by her parents Ralph & Flossie Stuckey, daughter Avis, son-in-law Gord Quinlan, brother Joseph, sister Rowena Barnes.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Stanley, children Mondella (Dion), Ida (Keith), Gloria (Harvey), Levi (Lisa), Scott (Denise), Cordell (Krissy), grandchildren Shana (Calvin), Paul (Erica), Deon (Ralinda), Adam (Emily), Timothy (Meaghan), Matthew (Mary), Leon (Natalie), Emma, Keana, Keysha (Allan-Ray), 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, siblings Eric (Rowena), Della (Pat), Reginald and Junior (Dellie) as well as a large number of extended family and friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with private visitation on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Funeral service will take place from the Funeral home chapel on Friday, February 17, 2023 for invited guest only.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Cemetery Fund.
