Milton Hale

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Milton Hale formerly of Too Good Arm, NL announce his passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, on July 13, 2026 at the age of 85.

Milton Dexter Hale was born December 14, 1940 to Harry & Hettie (Tuffin) Hale of Too Good Arm, NL.

On August 21, 1982 he married Marie Stuckless of Durrell, NL. Milton spent most of his working life in the lumber woods for the former Bowaters LTD. In 2008 Milton & Marie moved to Gander but always enjoyed their many visits to Too Good Arm and Twillingate.

Milton was predeceased by his first wife Bessie Russell; brothers Bramwell, Everett, Wilson and step-son Jack.

He leaves to mourn with great sadness his second wife Marie of 44 years, sister Melvina; step-children Eugene, Gerald, Austin, Nelson, Madeline, as well as many nephews, nieces and extended family and friends. 

While living in Too Good Arm he enjoyed working in his shed doing wood work. He also enjoyed listening to gospel and western music and playing his guitar in the Salvation Army Church.

Donations in Milton's memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Society.

His family would like to thank the staff of Lakeside Homes for their dedicated care.
