Morley Gidge

Surrounded by family, Morley Roland John Gidge, aged 87 of Hillgrade, NL, passed peacefully away into his heavenly home on Friday December 30th, 2022.

Morley was predeceased by his parents John and Minnie; siblings Elsie (Tom), Abel (Dorothy), Wilfred, Sandy (Martha), Winston; son Fred; son-in-law Jim; and great-grandson Hunter.

Morley leaves behind a large circle of family including the love of his life Bernice; brother Arthur (Sarah), his ‘girls’ Daphne, Audrey (Calvin), Viola (Sterling), Michelle (Jamie) and Darlene (Dan); son Dexter (Dana); daughter-in-law Ena (Dennis); grandchildren Philip (Crystal-Lee), Karen (Jeff), Ryan (Vanessa), Adam, Pamela (Andy), Justin (Melissa), Amanda, Hilary (Ryan), Cameron (Kiara), Gregory, Devon (Holly), Riley, Kaden (their dad, Jody); and 12 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Public visitation will take place on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. from the Hillgrade Pentecostal Church. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
