Oswald Rideout

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Oswald Rideout, age 83 years, formerly of Cottlesville, NL announce his passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood, NL, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

He is predeceased by his parents Cadez & Elsie, first wife Marie, sister Pauline (Lloyd) Philpott, and daughter-in-law Beverly.

Left with fond and loving memory are his wife Annie, children Diane (Junior), Glen (Verna), David (Lori), Lorne (Trudy), Dean, grandchildren Tonya, Jody, Samantha, Spencer, Trina, Kirk, Chantelle, Brett, Alisha, Zachery, 7 great-grandchildren, brother Lloyd (Cora), step-children Daryl (Judy), Brian (Darlene), Colleen (Peter), Glennis (Lorne), Olin (Deanne), Irvin (Charlene), Sonya (David), 15 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home with public visitation on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Salem Pentecostal Church, Cottlesville, NL on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor C. Langdon officiating.
